IDTS Workgroup

This section contains an overview of the functions of each of the workgroups, along with the names of the members of each group:

High School Database Workgroup:

Create a design vision for database use with input from likely users, design the database, design an extract for OCCURS and SCARF, create archiving and deleting rules, identify methods for management of transcript versions, and design queries, yield analysis reports and other standard reports. We also expect the group to have some involvement in the development of the software. A clarifying diagram can be found in the workgroup thread on the forum.

While BANNER import capabilities are potentially connected to this group¹s tasks, the complexity may mean we identify a second workgroup to focus on this when the time comes.

EDI Workgroup:

The EDI work group will initially focus on several tasks:

Evaluate current practices and partners
Compare similarities and differences
Standardize data elements (if possible and desirable)
Make recommendations to improve current exchanges, if necessary
Make recommendations about adding partners to currently exchanging schools and bringing up additional campuses
